Electric car sales have increased steadily in recent years, and electric cars are now in every aspect of our lives. Of course, a new report has been published for electric cars, which have been on the agenda many times due to their failure to provide the ranges they use in marketing.
The Norwegian Automobile Federation (NAF), as in previous years, is trying to reveal the range performance of electric cars on the market in cold weather. By performing certain tests shared the results with us.
How are the tests performed?
Many electric cars are tested in freezing temperatures, where temperatures range from 2 to -10 degrees. The main purpose here is whether they can provide the maximum range used in marketing to reveal.
While the published table shows that many vehicles fall far behind this promise, it also shows which vehicles they will need to choose for those who will travel long distances with an electric car, especially on cold winter days.
