Turkcell General Manager Dr. Ali Taha Koç pointed out that within the scope of the project that has been carried out with the Ministry of National Education since 2016, the number of Intelligence Power classes has reached 13 in the earthquake region and 87 throughout the country, and said, “To date, our students have received more than 400 awards in national and international competitions.” and made us proud by winning the championship. “We will continue to raise generations that will shape Turkey’s future in classrooms equipped with all the necessary technological equipment,” he said.

TurkcellThe new class of the “Power of Intelligence” project, which was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and aims to prepare specially talented children and young people for the world of the future, was opened within Kahramanmaraş Elbistan Science and Art Center (BİLSEM). Turkcell General Manager Dr. Officials from the Ministry of National Education also attended the opening of the Intelligence Power Technology Class, hosted by Ali Taha Koç.

Robotics and coding project sets were given to the students who attended the opening ceremony with their report cards as they were on mid-term break. Elbistan BİLSEM students, Turkcell‘s new character had fun with Teknocan’s mascot.

More than 66 thousand students have used Intelligence Power classes every year since 2016

Sharing the children’s report card excitement and chatting with them at the opening of Elbistan Science and Art Center (BİLSEM) Intelligence Power Technology Class Turkcell General Manager Dr. Ali Taha Koç said: “Within the scope of the project that started in 2016, we have opened 87 Intelligence Power classes in 55 cities of Turkey to date. We reach more than 66 thousand students every year. We opened the first of the classes that will serve in 2025. We will continue to increase our classes. Our Power of Intelligence project contributes greatly to our children growing up as individuals with high awareness who not only consume but also produce technology. We ensure that our children and young people, selected according to their special skills and interests, receive education in many areas such as artificial intelligence, robotic coding, smart home, cloud technologies and space sciences, while also becoming digitally literate and preparing for the world of the future. On the day of report card excitement, I experienced the joy of meeting with our students who produce technology at Elbistan BİLSEM. “On this occasion, I wish a nice semester break to our dear students, who are the future of our country.”

Project set as an example by the United Nations

Turkcell Reminding that the Intelligence Power Project was shown as the best exemplary project in the field of social impact analysis in the “SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Impact Assessment” report presented by the World GSM Association (GSMA) at the United Nations, Turkcell General Manager Dr. Ali Taha Koç said, “Students studying in Turkcell’s Zekat Power classes have won more than 400 awards and championships in national and international competitions to date. Their successes both make us proud and motivate us. We have 13 Intelligence Force classes in 10 provinces in the earthquake zone, including Kahramanmaraş. Laptops, tablets, 3D printer, Raspberry Generations that will shape the future and the future of our country are being raised in the Intelligence Force classes, which are equipped with all kinds of technological equipment such as Pi kits, artificial intelligence and sensor kits and Arduino project sets. “We will continue to invest in Turkey’s future with our Intelligence Force and other social benefit projects,” he said.

The social impact of the project was also measured in 2024. In order to understand the changes experienced by students and teachers who benefit from the Power of Mind classes and to increase the impact of the project, with the social impact analysis SROI (Social Return on Investment) methodology, which is widely used in the world;

• An increase was observed in the self-confidence and academic performance of 84% of the students who received education in the Intelligence Force classes, in the level of curiosity of 83%, and in the level of awareness and interest in technology of 82%.
• The project made a positive contribution to the professional development of 88% of the teachers providing training.
