MSI reshapes its moves in the hand console market. The company, which tries to make room for itself in this field with its CLAW series, can terminate its cooperation with Intel and switch to AMD. According to allegations, the new generation MSI Claw model will feature AMD’s Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor.
The new MSI Claw will appear with AMD processor
MSI used an Intel -based hardware in the first Claw model. However, Intel’s processor performance on portable devices lagged behind AMD solutions, especially in energy efficiency.
This led to Claw’s failure to meet user expectations both in terms of performance and battery time. It is claimed that the company has turned its direction to AMD in the new model after this experience.
Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, which will be used in the new hand console, has a 8 -core structure produced with Zen 5 architecture. On the graphic side, there is an integrated GPU based on RDNA 3.5 architecture of 16 units. This structure will create a strong ground for the expected high -performance gaming experience in portable consoles.
Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme does not carry the emphasis on the “AI” emphasis. The processor has a special NPU (Neural Processing Unit). With this unit, the device can work without loading the processor or GPU in artificial intelligence -based tasks.
The active activity of artificial intelligence in image improvement, power optimization, sound processing and interface interactions will directly affect the general use of the device. So what do you think about this? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
