One of the most striking innovations of the new Model Y is the changes made in the headlight design. The dual LED headlights are connected by a thin light strip. This design resembles Tesla’s Cybertruck model. At the rear, the C-shaped taillights are combined with a light bar similar to those seen in the facelifted version of the Model 3.

Tesla’s new aerodynamic design will be effective in increasing the efficiency of the vehicle. In particular, aerodynamic optimizations are expected to reduce energy consumption and increase range. There are also important innovations in the interior of Model Y. Among these innovations:

• A new steering wheel design,
• Control via steering wheel or touch screen by removing the traditional gear selector,
• Improved seats and new ambient lighting,
• A larger infotainment screen,
• There is an 8-inch screen for rear passengers.

It is also stated that these changes are compatible with the updates made to the recently renewed Model 3. Although some sources claim that there will be mechanical innovations in the new Model Y Juniper, the details were not announced until the official launch. However, information was also brought to the fore that work was being done on a 6-seater version planned to be produced in China by the end of 2025.
