New details about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series continue to emerge. Two models are expected to be available to users in the series, which is expected to become official in October. It is stated that both of these models will carry MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ processor. It is worth noting that Samsung has decided to remove the standard Tab S10 model from the series.
Galaxy Tab S10+ had previously entered Geekbench’s database with the model number SM-X828U and the presence of the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor was confirmed. Now the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has passed Geekbench’s test with model number SM-X926B. The test result shows that this model also has a Dimensity 9300+ processor.
The eight-core processor has only large cores. In this processor, which carries four Cortex-X4 (one 3.4 GHz and three 2.85 GHz) and four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A720 cores, the Immortalis-G720 takes on the GPU duty. Dimensity 9300+ also has Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support. Samsung’s new tablets will also offer 5G connectivity as an option.
Samsung will also offer a 16 GB RAM option for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
According to Geekbench’s test results, Dimensity 9300+ is accompanied by 12 GB RAM. Samsung had previously included 12 GB RAM in the Tab S9. However, in the Ultra version, one of the RAM options is expected to be 16 GB.
The performance of Dimensity 9300+ is expected to be better than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. In addition, the price of MediaTek’s chip is estimated to be more affordable compared to Qualcomm’s. It can be said that this is a “win-win” situation for Samsung.
