Tesla’s electric vehicle Cybertruck, which has made a lot of noise all over the world, is on the agenda with a serious problem, even though it is new on the market. According to the statement made by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on November 13, Tesla started to recall 2 thousand 431 Cybertruck models. So why are vehicles being recalled?

Tesla’s Cybertruck model is facing a faulty inverter problem this time!

First of all, let us state that the reason for this recall is the drive inverter malfunction detected in some vehicles. A faulty inverter may cause the wheels to lose driving power, which poses a significant risk to driving safety. For this reason, Tesla quickly inspected the vehicles and took action to solve the problem.

Cybertruck was launched with great expectations as Tesla’s first electric pickup truck, and it instantly became popular all over the world with its introduction in 2019. This malfunction is not the first for the vehicle, whose first deliveries in the USA begin towards the end of 2023.

With a total of five different recalls so far, the Cybertruck is one of Tesla’s most recalled models. Among these calls, there are also other technical difficulties encountered in some production stages. But fortunately, Tesla has a good habit of solving problems quickly. That’s why we can say that customers do not suffer much.

Cybertruck, which we had the opportunity to review in Turkey recently, also attracts attention with its different versions released to the market. While the rear-wheel drive model of the vehicle is offered for sale at $ 60,990, the more powerful four-wheel drive version is priced at $ 79,990 and the “Beast” version with the highest performance has a price tag of $ 99,990.

Tesla plans to launch all-wheel drive and Beast models by 2024, while the rear-wheel drive model is expected to go on sale in 2025.
