Track and Performance Focused New Monster: Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro 4Matic Introduced!

Mercedes-AMGhas added a new member to the GT series called AMG GT63 Pro 4Matic. This new model, introduced at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, draws attention with its performance and track-oriented features.

GT63 Pro’s changes over the current GT63 model include increased power output, improved cooling and standard carbon-ceramic brakes. Tires suitable for the track will also be offered at no extra cost. AMG President Michael Schiebe stated that the Pro will provide superior performance on the track while also being comfortable in daily use.

What Does Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro 4Matic Offer?

The new GT63 Pro uses an improved version of AMG’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine. The engine produces 603 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. The vehicle has a 4Matic four-wheel drive system and a nine-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and reaches 124 mph 0.5 seconds faster.

Significant improvements have been made to the Pro’s cooling system. There are dual high-temperature radiators at the front and separate radiators for the front and rear differentials. Additionally, the electronically controlled transfer case is actively cooled.

Aerodynamic changes include a fixed carbon fiber wing at the rear and additional air deflectors under the vehicle. It is stated that these changes increase the overall aerodynamic performance of the vehicle.

The Pro also retains the active dynamics systems from the regular GT63 model. Features such as rear axle steering, electronically controlled limited slip differential and adaptive shock absorbers are available.

GT63 Pro will be produced according to market demand, not in limited numbers. Pricing and other details will be announced early next year, when deliveries will begin.
