Apple’s current ad formats include two types of ads that appear in the search tab and the search results page, “You might also like” ads that appear on app product pages, and ads that appear in the “Today” tab when users first open the App Store. Although there have been ads in the App Store for a long time, they have not come to Turkey yet. Thanks to the new artificial intelligence-supported advertising tool, advertisers choose their budgets, cost targets, audiences and countries they want to reach. The algorithm automatically decides where the brand’s ads are best placed among the four available formats.
Although Apple is testing this tool in the App Store for now, according to experts, the tool will eventually expand to the company’s other products. It is thought that this move towards artificial intelligence-enhanced ad placements may spread to other applications and services such as Apple News, Stocks and the recently launched Sports app.
