Vivo’s new flagships, Vivo X200 and X200 Pro, will be introduced in China in October this year. These devices will replace the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro with Dimensity 9300 processor, which were announced in the same period last year. It is reported that the new models will come with the Dimensity 9400 processor.
The screen of the Vivo X200 will be flat and have a size ranging from 6.4 to 6.5 inches. This screen will offer 1.5K resolution. This supports previous reports stating that the X200 will be a compact phone. On the other hand, Vivo X200 Pro will have a slightly curved screen and will still offer 1.5K resolution, but its size will be approximately 6.7 inches. The curved screen design of the X200 Pro will attract attention with its narrow bezels and equally curved structure on all four sides.
Looking at the camera features, it is stated that the Vivo X200 will come with a 50 megapixel main camera and will also have a periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. This model will be the first standard flagship to include Vivo’s self-developed imaging chip. While the X200 will have an optical in-display fingerprint reader, the Pro model will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Other details of the Pro model are not yet clear, but it is estimated that it will come with a larger battery than the 5400mAh battery of the Vivo X100 Pro.
These new features of Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are an indication of the brand’s efforts to offer higher performance and innovative technologies to its users. The October launch is eagerly awaited to see how well Vivo achieves these goals.
