What technologies await Turkey in 2025?

Another development that will change communication systems is low orbit satellites. While companies such as Starlink, Amazon and OneWeb are accelerating their work in this field, Turkey aims to take part in global competition with projects such as Türksat 6A. These satellites have the capacity to provide high-speed internet, especially in places where the network does not have service.

Autonomous vehicle technology and smart transportation systems will become more common in Turkey in the coming years. Deputy Minister pointed out the importance of keeping Turkey’s data domestically and announced that they encourage automotive manufacturers to move their data centers to Turkey.

Infrastructure investments continue unabated to avoid communication disruptions during natural disasters. 5G technology will play a critical role in this field. Stating that the operators gained experience, Sayan said that they developed new solutions to ensure uninterrupted communication.

Dr. Sayan emphasized the importance of young people following technology closely. Inspired by the technologies introduced at the CES 2025 fair, he stated that domestic and national technologies should be developed in Turkey.
