Which Apple Intelligence features are missing in iOS 18.1?

apple, iOS 18.1 introduced the first release of Apple Intelligence, along with the developer betas of iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1. While these betas include some useful Apple Intelligence features like Authoring Tools, some important additions aren’t available yet. Here are the Apple Intelligence features that are not yet included in iOS 18.1.

What are the Apple Intelligence features missing in iOS 18.1?

In addition to the innovations coming with the iOS 18.1 beta, many Apple Intelligence features have still not arrived. The first is a standalone application called Image Playground and the integration of this functionality into applications such as Notes and Messages. This feature is currently not available in beta and is expected to be available in future updates.

Another missing feature is Genmoji, which is based on Image Playground. This fun feature allows users to create their personal emojis, but it is not yet in beta. Likewise, Image Wand, which adds images to your notes based on context, is also not available.

Priority Notifications is a feature that allows you to quickly prioritize incoming notifications and shows the most important notifications at the top of the list. This is among the features that are still not available in beta. Similarly, Mail categories are not yet available and are waiting to organize your incoming emails.

In the Photos app, the Memory Maker function is active, while the Clean Up tool, which removes unwanted objects with a single tap, is still pending. Siri’s screen awareness, personal context, and the ability to take more actions between applications are also among the features that have not yet been included in the beta. ChatGPT integration has not yet been implemented with Siri either.

Apple Intelligence is currently only available in English, with support for other languages ​​coming in the future. Apple Intelligence is also expected to expand to other platforms, as Apple announced at WWDC. Therefore, the feature set will become even more comprehensive in the future.
