For example, if the pressure inside a closed soda bottle is 4 times the atmospheric pressure, according to Boyle’s Law, which states that the volume and pressure of a gas change inversely at constant temperature. When the bottle is opened, the pressure decreases by 4 times and the volume of the gas bubbles increases by 4 times.

These bubbles look for a way to quickly exit the bottle and While doing this, they push the liquid violently, causing an explosion. So they gush.
