Windows 11 improves with AI-powered search

Microsoft is working on a new artificial intelligence-supported search feature for Windows 11. This feature has started to be tested in the developer channel of the Insider program. This innovation, announced in October and based on semantic indexing, allows users to search for local files using natural language. In particular, computers with Copilot Plus hardware are designed to support this new feature.

The artificial intelligence search feature can work in search boxes on platforms such as the taskbar, File Explorer and Settings.
