Windows 11 Recall feature does not require special hardware
A user named Albacore created Recall. On a PC with a Snapdragon 7cx processor and 4GB RAM announced that they managed to get it working. Even though the 7cx is an ARM chip (no onboard NPU) and only 3.4GB of available memory, it was able to run the AI feature. According to Microsoft, you need to have a PC with a minimum of 16GB of RAM. By the way, it was stated that the feature works very stably.
Recall, on the other hand, is seen as an interesting but worrying feature. Although Microsoft clearly states that all operations occur on the device and no data leaves the computer, many users express concern that Windows 11 takes a screenshot of everything on the screen every few minutes.
