Xbox Cloud Gaming finally supports keyboard and mouse input in web browsers

Microsoft, Xbox Cloud Gaming
After promoting this feature for years, it has finally released a new update that brings mouse and keyboard support. The tool is currently in beta and available for both Edge and Chrome Works with web browsers. It also seems quite simple to use. Just choose a game that supports mouse and keyboard and start playing.

Also on the remote Xbox You can also instantly switch from a mouse/keyboard combination to a standard controller by pressing the button or pressing a key on the keyboard. The company also announced that it will roll out badges later in the month to let users know which games support mouse and keyboard input.

There is support for 26 games for now. Among these ARK
Survival
Evolved, Halo Infinite and, of course, Fortnite. Smaller games like High on Life and Pentiment can also be controlled with a mouse and keyboard. For the full list, check the links on the official site.

Microsoft, did not say why it took so long for this to continue. This feature was initially estimated to be available in June 2022, but we didn’t get a progress update until two months ago. Whatever the reason, KBM setups are practically a necessity for first-person shooters, and of course, better late than never.
