Xiaomi developed HyperOS with the vision of combining all its products under a single operating system and largely achieved its goal. However, like every first-generation product, HyperOS experienced a number of problems when it was released last year, and this problem was especially felt on some smartphones. Xiaomi is preparing to solve these problems with the HyperOS 2.0 update. Information provided by sources shows that the company has invested significantly in optimizing the operating system to provide a smoother and more responsive user experience.
According to Duyumcu Fixed Focus Digital; HyperOS 2.0 is expected to offer cold boot optimization, fix lock screen bugs, and improve vehicle connectivity. It is also stated that Xiaomi has expanded the compatibility of its operating system to cover a wider range of older devices and is working meticulously to ensure that more users can benefit from new features.
Leaked information suggests that the operating system may include a “Camera Scanning” feature that uses WLAN signals to detect hidden cameras and aims to increase user privacy. Additionally, HyperOS 2.0 is expected to create a more intelligent and user-centric ecosystem by incorporating advanced AI capabilities.
Although the official release date of HyperOS 2.0 has not been confirmed yet, it is expected to launch alongside the Xiaomi 15 series in late October. HyperOS was first introduced in China last October with the Xiaomi 14 series and replaced MIUI.
