How to use the YouTube community notes feature?
On YouTube, users who think a video contains confusing or incorrect information will be able to post a note to clarify. You can write and send notes under the videos.add noteThere will be a ” button. People with a wide range of views will be able to review this contribution and decide as a group whether the note should be featured in the video. If the note is approved, it will appear directly below the video.
In order for the notes to be published, they must be written in the user’s own words, be easily understandable, be unbiased, and directly address the claim made in the video or video title. It will also be published if found useful by the community.
Google first announced this feature in June. Right now testing with a specific group of users. It is unclear when the feature will be available to all users.
