For those who don’t know and don’t realize it’s still available, fixed audio is a feature designed to improve your listening experience across a lot of YouTube content. On Google’s official support page, the fixed sound feature is described as “helping to reduce jarring differences in sound level” and now you will be able to use this feature on your TVs as well.
in are YouTube If this feature, which was detected in the v4.40.303 version, came to your Android TV or Google TV, you can go into the video settings while playing a video and see the “fixed sound” feature. You can turn the feature on or off at any time from this screen.
As before, Google does not recommend using this feature while listening to music, but using it in content such as podcasts, TV series, movies or vlogs will now allow you to get the volume much more consistently.
