Resolved with 1Password version 8.10.36
According to 1Password’s statement, 8.10.36 All versions before is vulnerable to the vulnerability. While the company explains that there is no trace of the vulnerability being used, it advises users to update their applications.
1Password for Mac It was announced that an issue affecting security protections in the application was detected. This issue allows a malicious process running locally on the device to bypass in-process communication protections. To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker needs to run malware on a Mac computer with 1Password installed. The attacker spoofs reliable 1Password integrations such as the 1Password browser extension and CLI by exploiting missing macOS-specific in-process authentications. This allows the malware to obtain values used to log into 1Password, specifically the account unlock key and SRP-x.
1Password checks for updates every day, five minutes after you open the app. 1Password is automatically updated if it is locked, if not, it notifies the user that a new update is available.
