Big increase in flight tickets! Domestic lines are affected

The General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM) announced that there has been an increase in domestic flight ticket ceiling prices. With this change, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus integrated the new ceiling prices into their own tariffs.

According to the announcement made by SHGM, the ceiling fee for domestic flight tickets was increased to 4 thousand 3 TL from the previous limit of 3 thousand 253 TL. With this update, the price ceilings set in 2013 were increased for the first time.

This increase, which will be valid as of August 1, 2024, has caused a significant change in the ticket pricing policy of Turkish Airlines and Pegasus. Within the scope of the new price policy, 80 percent of the tickets offered for sale will be sold at 2 thousand 503 TL, and the remaining 20 percent will be sold at 4 thousand 3 TL.
