Leaks from Korea today reported that Samsung and LG have started mass production on the screen side for the new iPhone model. Apple, which has had the screens of its devices produced by Samsung and LG for a while, thinks that there will be 90 million iPhone 16 shipments this year. For this reason, it demands 80 million panels from Samsung and 43 million panels from LG. Even though the requested figure is more than the total shipment, it will not put Apple in a difficult situation in case of repair or sales beyond expectations.

Of course, this year Samsung and LG have very high expectations from the iPhone 16. Apple, which could not get the sales it wanted from new iPhone models last year, seems to sell more with Intelligence this year. This situation also excites screen manufacturers LG and Samsung. If there is an unexpected increase in sales as expected, LG will have sold approximately 10 million more displays than last year. LG, which lost a large share of its screen production to Samsung after delaying production in recent years, may be able to return to its former position with this device.
