Meta and Google are offering millions of dollars to Hollywood studios to develop artificial intelligence-supported video models. According to Bloomberg, companies have made very large offers, but the outcome of the negotiations remains unclear.
According to the news in question, Netflix and Disney do not want to license their content, but both companies say they are interested in different types of collaboration. Warner Brothers Discovery, on the other hand, is reportedly willing to license certain of its programs.
Both Meta and Google hope such deals will help improve video creation tools. If you remember, Google recently introduced a text-to-video model called Veo and appointed Donald Glover to promote its capabilities. Meta is also working on videos produced by artificial intelligence.
