Of course, the panel that left its mark on Comic-Con yesterday was the Marvel panel, but there was actually another important panel last night. DC Studios held a panel for The Penguin series, which takes place in the same universe as the 2022 movie The Batman. The studio, which introduced the series in detail in this panel, also released a new trailer from the series. With this new trailer, the broadcast date of the series has also been announced. The eagerly awaited Penguin series will meet the audience on HBO and MAX on September 19.
This spin-off series, focusing on the Penguin character played by Colin Farrell in The Batman movie, will take place immediately after the events depicted in the movie. The series, in which Colin Farrell returns as Penguin, is about the rise of Penguin in Gotham, who takes action to take control of the underworld after the arrest of Carmine Falcone, the head of Gotham’s criminal empire.
