Realme 12 Pro+ received Android 15 update

Realme announced the Android 15 Beta 2 update for Realme 12 Pro+ right after the launch of Android 15. This update is rolling out to Realme 12 Pro+ users in India and users are advised to back up their data. Considering the instability experienced in Android 15 Beta 1, Beta 2 also contains some bugs. Therefore, users should backup all their data before installing the update.

For the update process, the steps specified by Realme must be followed. First of all, users must have the latest version of Android 14 (RMX3840_14.0.0.1001(EX01)) installed on their devices. After downloading the Android 15 Beta 2 version (RMX3840_14.0.0.02), they should follow the steps below to install it on their devices:

1. Transfer the downloaded software package to the phone storage.
2. Enable developer mode.
3. Follow the steps in Settings > Software Update > Settings in the upper right corner > Select installation package manually.
4. Select the downloaded software package and start the installation.
5. The system will reboot.

Users who are not satisfied with the Android 15 experience can go back to Android 14. For this, the backup process must be completed and the battery level must be at least 30%. The rollback process will be carried out using the same steps followed for the Android 15 update.
