Xiaomi is preparing to revive the Redmi Turbo series. According to new reports seen in China, the company has rolled up its sleeves for Redmi Turbo 4. It is preparing to bring an unreleased POCO model to some markets under the Redmi brand. Here are the details.
What does Redmi Turbo 4 promise?
According to the news in Gizmochina, Xiaomi is working on a new version of the Redmi Turbo 3 model. Latest leaks have revealed that the mid-range device that will be released as POCO F7 will be Redmi Turbo 4. The refreshed model was recently spotted in the IMEI database with model number “2412DRT0AC”.
Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO is expected to introduce the same device as POCO F7 in May. It should be noted that this model was registered with the code name “2412DPC0AG” for the global market and “2412DPC0AI” for the Indian market.
In terms of technical specifications, it is stated that Redmi Turbo 4 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 chipset. It is expected to come with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Considering the recent launch of Redmi Turbo 3 and POCO F6, both smartphones may not debut until 2025.
As a reminder, the Redmi Turbo 3 model comes with a 6.67-inch OLED screen. Offering 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, this screen has a peak brightness of 2400 nits. It also features Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technologies and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
