According to the news in Anadolu Agency, TUA President Yusuf Kıraç stated that they will send the second astronaut Tuva Cihangir Atasever into space in April for a suborbital flight of approximately 80 kilometers. Kıraç made the following statements in his statement regarding the issue:

“It looks like Tuva’s space journey will take place around the first weeks of April.”

According to the information provided, Atasever will conduct approximately 7 experiments in space.

Stating that Alper Gezeravcı carried out 13 scientific experiments during his stay in space, Kıraç said, “The experiments carried out by a Turkish astronaut have now been published in the literature. Hopefully, from now on, they will also be useful in international academic publications.”

Kıraç said, “We are currently carrying out our space awareness and human resources mission along with this mission. While Alper was there, we met with our students from Samsun to Hatay. This excitement will continue after Alper returns,” he said and continued his statement with the following words:
